Appointments

You should schedule an appointment to ensure time will be reserved for us to assist your personal vision needs. We make every effort to see you at your scheduled appointment time. Doctors who care for diseases of the vitreous, the retina and uvea are often sent emergencies by other physicians that may cause us to fall behind schedule. Whenever possible we will notify you if there is a delay. If it is necessary for you to cancel an appointment, please try to give us at least 24 hours notice to allow us to accommodate others who may be waiting for an appointment. Calls for prescription refills are best made during office hours when your chart will be available to the physician. Please have your pharmacy’s telephone number ready before calling us.

Fees and Insurances

We are participating physicians with most insurance, HMO, and managed care plans.   For all insurances with which we participate, we will be happy to submit your bill on covered services. Some insurance plans require referrals prior to your visit with us. It is your responsibility to obtain these referrals from your family doctor, when necessary.

Emergencies

Eye care emergencies can occur at any time. We assure you that we will respond to your problem promptly and effectively. If you suspect that a problem is developing, we ask you to notify us as early in the day as possible. This will enable us to give you the prompt, personal attention you may require.
